Welcome to TeacherAI Center. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our AI-powered lesson planning platform located at teacheraicenter.com (the “Service”). By creating an account or using our Service, you agree to these Terms.

TeacherAI Center is operated by TEACHERAICENTER, a California sole proprietorship.

1. Our Mission

TeacherAI Center exists to liberate teachers from the burden of weekend lesson planning and expensive educational resource subscriptions. We provide AI-powered, standards-aligned lesson generation tools designed to give teachers back their time while delivering curriculum-quality resources at a fraction of traditional costs.

We believe teachers deserve professional tools at fair prices. These Terms protect both you and our ability to continue serving the teaching community.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Who Can Use TeacherAI

TeacherAI Center is designed for educators, instructional coaches, curriculum specialists, homeschool parents, and other education professionals. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2.2 Account Creation

To access most features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account

2.3 One Account Per Person

Accounts are for individual use only. You may not share your login credentials with others or allow multiple people to access the Service through a single account.

2.4 Institutional Inquiries

TeacherAI Center is designed for individual teachers. If you represent a school, district, or organization interested in multiple accounts, please contact us at support@teacheraicenter.com to discuss your needs.

3. Subscription Plans and Billing

3.1 Available Plans

  • $20.00 per month
  • 50 lesson generations per month
  • Unlimited library storage
  • Full access to all features and tools
  • Cancel anytime

Annual Membership

  • $192.00 per year ($16.00/month equivalent)
  • 50 lesson generations per month
  • Unlimited library storage
  • Full access to all features and tools
  • Cancel anytime

Launch 500 — Founding Member (Limited Availability)

  • $84.00 per year ($7.00/month equivalent)
  • 50 lesson generations per month
  • Unlimited library storage
  • Annual billing only
  • Limited to the first 500 members
  • All premium features and tools included

3.2 Founding Member Special Terms

The Launch 500 Founding Member rate includes unique terms that differ from standard subscriptions:

Price Lock Guarantee: Your $7.00/month rate (billed annually at $84.00) remains locked for as long as you maintain continuous, active membership. Even as our standard pricing increases, your founding rate stays the same.

Cancellation Consequences: If you cancel your Founding Member subscription for any reason, you permanently forfeit your founding rate. Resubscription is only available at the then-current standard pricing. There are no exceptions to this policy.

Annual Billing Only: Founding Member subscriptions are billed annually. Monthly billing is not available for this tier.

Limited Availability: Only 500 Founding Member spots exist. Once filled, this tier closes permanently.

3.3 Monthly Lesson Generation Limits

All paid subscriptions include 50 lesson generations per month. This limit:

  • Resets every 30 days from your billing date
  • Applies to AI-generated lesson creation only
  • Does NOT limit your library storage (keep all lessons you’ve created)
  • Does NOT limit use of tools (tools are built from your existing lessons at no additional cost)

50 lessons per month is designed to generously support individual classroom use. If you consistently need more, please contact us at support@teacheraicenter.com to discuss your needs.

Why We Have This Limit: Each lesson generation uses AI processing resources. This limit ensures we can maintain quality service and fair pricing for all teachers while preventing misuse of the platform.

3.4 Billing and Payments

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method on file
  • Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include applicable taxes

3.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice. Price changes do not affect:

  • Your current billing period
  • Founding Member locked rates (while subscription remains active)

4. Refund Policy

4.1 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with TeacherAI Center for any reason within the first 14 days of your initial subscription purchase, contact us at support@teacheraicenter.com for a full refund.

This guarantee applies to:

  • First-time subscription purchases only
  • Requests made within 14 days of initial payment
  • Monthly, Annual, and Founding Member subscriptions

4.2 After 14 Days

After the 14-day guarantee period:

  • No refunds will be issued for any reason
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Cancellation stops future billing but does not generate a refund
  • You retain access to paid features until your current billing period ends

4.3 Founding Member Cancellation Reminder

If you cancel a Founding Member subscription (even within the 14-day refund window and later resubscribe), you permanently lose your founding rate. Consider this carefully before requesting a refund.

5. How the Service Works

5.1 AI-Powered Lesson Generation

TeacherAI Center uses artificial intelligence (powered by Anthropic’s Claude) to generate lesson plans based on your selected curriculum standards, grade levels, subjects, and preferences. The AI creates original lesson content tailored to your specifications.

5.2 Your Role as the Professional

AI-generated lessons are starting points, not final products. You, as the education professional, are responsible for:

  • Reviewing all generated content before classroom use
  • Adapting lessons to your specific students’ needs
  • Ensuring appropriateness for your classroom context
  • Verifying alignment with your school or district requirements
  • Making final pedagogical decisions

We provide the tools; you provide the professional judgment.

5.3 No Guarantee of Outcomes

While we strive for high-quality, standards-aligned lesson generation, we cannot guarantee that every lesson will be perfect for your specific situation. Educational outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control, including implementation, student populations, and classroom dynamics.

6. Intellectual Property and Content Rights

6.1 Your Rights to Generated Lessons

When you generate a lesson using TeacherAI Center, you receive a license to use that lesson for:

  • Your own classroom instruction
  • Sharing with colleagues at no charge
  • Adaptation and modification for your teaching needs
  • Storage in your personal TeacherAI library

6.2 Prohibited Uses

Resell or Commercially Distribute Lessons

You may not sell, license, or commercially distribute lessons generated through TeacherAI Center. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Posting lessons for sale on Teachers Pay Teachers, TPT, or similar marketplaces
  • Selling lesson bundles or curriculum packages
  • Licensing lessons to schools or districts for payment
  • Any other commercial redistribution for profit

Bulk Download for Redistribution

You may not systematically download lessons for the purpose of redistributing them, whether for free or for payment.

Account Sharing or Reselling

You may not share your account credentials or allow others to access the Service through your account.

6.3 Sharing With Colleagues

Teachers help teachers—we support that. You ARE permitted to:

  • Share individual lessons with colleagues at no charge
  • Collaborate on lesson adaptation with your team
  • Provide lessons to substitute teachers covering your class
  • Share resources within your school’s professional learning community

The distinction is simple: sharing is encouraged; selling is prohibited.

6.4 Our Intellectual Property

TeacherAI Center, including our platform, AI systems, design, branding, and all related materials, remains our property. Your subscription grants you a license to use the Service, not ownership of it.

6.5 Content You Provide

If you provide content to the Service (such as materials for your Supply Closet or lesson preferences), you retain ownership of that content. You grant us a license to use it solely to provide and improve the Service for you.

7. Feedback and Testimonials

We love hearing from teachers about their experiences with TeacherAI Center. By submitting feedback, testimonials, reviews, suggestions, or success stories to us (via email, support channels, social media, or any other means), you grant us permission to:

  • Use your feedback to improve the Service
  • Publish testimonials on our website, marketing materials, and social media
  • Use your first name and general location (e.g., “Sarah T., 3rd Grade Teacher, Texas”) unless you request otherwise
  • Edit testimonials for length and clarity while preserving meaning

If you prefer your feedback remain private, please indicate this when you contact us. We will honor such requests.

8. Acceptable Use

8.1 You Agree Not To:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract our AI systems
  • Use automated tools to access the Service (scraping, bots, etc.)
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Use the Service to generate inappropriate, harmful, or illegal content
  • Circumvent any access restrictions or usage limits

8.2 Educational Purpose

TeacherAI Center is designed for legitimate educational purposes. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that appear to be misusing the Service.

9. Service Availability and Changes

9.1 Availability

We strive for consistent uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

9.2 Changes to the Service

We continuously improve TeacherAI Center. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Significant changes affecting paid subscriptions will be communicated in advance when possible.

9.3 Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Termination and Library Access

10.1 Your Right to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting support@teacheraicenter.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

10.2 Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Abuse the Service or other users
  • Fail to pay subscription fees

10.3 Library Access After Subscription Ends

We believe in fair treatment. After your subscription ends (whether by cancellation or non-renewal):

  • 12-month read-only access: You retain access to view and print lessons in your library for 12 months after your subscription ends
  • No new generation: You cannot generate new lessons without an active subscription
  • After 12 months: Your library data may be deleted

This policy applies equally to trial users whose trial expires and paid subscribers who cancel.

10.4 Founding Members and Cancellation

Founding Members who cancel retain 12-month library access like all other users. However, they permanently lose their founding rate and may only resubscribe at standard pricing.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

11.1 Service Provided “As Is”

TeacherAI Center is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TeacherAI Center and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11.3 Educational Decisions

We are not responsible for educational outcomes, employment decisions, or professional consequences resulting from the use of AI-generated lessons. You assume full responsibility for how you use our content in your professional capacity.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TeacherAI Center, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Dispute Resolution

13.1 Informal Resolution

Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to contact us at support@teacheraicenter.com to attempt informal resolution. Many issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

13.2 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

13.3 Jurisdiction

Any disputes not resolved informally shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California. You consent to personal jurisdiction in these courts.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TeacherAI Center regarding the Service.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.

14.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights to a successor or affiliate.
